Language Skill for the Week:
In language this week, we will be learning about subjects and predicates.
Daily Oral Language (DOL):
Each Friday, your child will have a Daily Oral Language (DOL) test. Your child will bring a paper home each Thursday night. On the sentence corrections, they will need to remember how to write the sentence correctly on the line. (The sentence will be written on the paper exactly like it is on the DOL paper. Then, they will rewrite it correctly just like they did on their paper.) Questions on the DOL test come directly from the paper attached. Please make sure your child studies to be prepared for the test on Friday.
Spelling Tests:
Spelling tests will be given each Friday (if a holiday falls on Friday, tests will be given on Thursday). Spelling lists can be found on our weekly newsletter. See the weekly newsletter page for a list of this week's spelling words.

After you get to the website,
1. Click on "Find a List".
2. Type Arab City in the search box.
3. Click on Arab City in the teacher name box.
4. Select the story of the week from the list. (It's in alphabetical order.)
